4 months down 5 more to go!
We had our 4 month doctors appointment yesterday and we have no new news to report. Weight gain is on track, and the doctor said that the belly size is also right where it should be (whew!). The doctor did listen to the heart rate which stayed around 152to 154 beats per minute - still high! Other than that we just waited for a long time and they took some more blood for a spina bifida test. Before we left we set the date for our next sonogram which is August 3rd - we will finally know if we will be having a little Brady or Adrian! Stay tuned!

Furniture for baby!
Over the weekend my mom and I went shopping for baby Hamiltons future furniture. Man, are there tons of choices! Espresso, cherry, hutch, no hutch, curved or straight and dont even get me started on all the different types of woods! After a long day I believe that we have it narrowed it down to a few choices but had to come home and take some measurements first since when Nick went to see our choices he pointed out some pieces may be too big for the room. I bet we have it ordered in the next few weeks..yay cant wait!
Nick went on a 200 plus mile ride on Sunday with his friend Joe and my step dad Bill. They went up almost to Oklahoma over to Tioga and then east to Lake Texoma and back down. It was a hot one for them but they had a great time - we then followed up the day at our favorite family restaurant El Norte.
We go back to the baby doctor tomorrow for a check up - no sonogram but we will have our next one in 2 short weeks. Time is flying by! On a side note my best friend from childhood Lindsay and her husband Blake gave birth to a beautiful, sweet little girl this morning at 9 am by C-section. Below is her picture from the hospital. We are so happy for both of them and are relieved that both mommy and baby are doing great! We will update after our appointment tomorrow!

Weekend Fun
Well the past few weekends have been so much around our house, especially now that I am in the second trimester and beginning to have a bit more energy! Yay me! I cant tell you how tired I was of being tired. I barely remember the last 3 months I think mostly because I was napping during most of it!
This weekend on Friday we celebrated our friend Ryans birthday at Top Golf where I out of nowhere realized that I have a talent for golf! Okay, probably not but I can hit the ball pretty far and even gave Nick a run for his money a few times. On Saturday I met my mom before my haircut and we did a little baby shopping at Macys. We are officially finished buying neutral colors but it is so hard not to pick stuff up because it is so much fun! Just 3 more weeks before we find out the sex of the baby! It cant come soon enough because we really want to begin decorating the babys room. So far we have hung up all the clothes in the babys closet but that is it!
On Saturday night we went over to our friends Melissa and Brian Koslans house for a summer housewarming party. They had rented a blow up slip and slide that took up the whole backyard - sadly I was not able to try it out since I am with baby - they frown upon running and sliding your body across a blown up lane into a small pool whle pregnant - something about may cause harm to the baby! But it looked like fun! Below is a picture that Melissa took of us - I actually am beginning to look pregnant! yay
After church on Sunday we went to the taste of Dallas with our friends Kay and Rob and thier beautiful 1 year old Sadie! I wish I had taken even one picture but I think because it was so hot out there that it didnt even cross my mind. Even though we were baking in what was suppossed to be an indoors event (I swear Fox news said this!) we had the best time with the Stahlers and cant wait till our little one can join in all the fun!
All this excitment left me exhausted and I ended up going to bed at 8 pm Sunday night. I guess even though I thought I had more energy a pregger can still overdue it very easily! Nick and I are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family and cant wait to do it all again next weekend!

Two Wonderful Years
On Monday Nick and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary! I cant believe how fast time flies by - it feels like it was just yesterday that we we saying our vows and then watching all of our friends dance into the reception and now we are expecting our first child! On Monday when we were walking out to the car for dinner Nick pointed to the clock which showed 6 pm and said "at this exact time two years ago you were walking in with your dad and we were about to get married." He can be so cute sometimes!
Our anniversary was not just celebrated by us but also by our nieces Ciera and Madison as well as our nephew Jack in Indiana. They reenacted our wedding and the pictures are too cute! Nicks mother sent us these pictures on Monday which automatically made both of us smile and made our days!
On another good note - we recieved our test results back from our genetic disorder test that we took last week and the results were negative! I cannot tell you how relieved we are to hear this good news. Now that we have almost made it to the second trimester (next week) and these results came back negative we are feeling much more like we can actually stop holding our breath and breathe. Now if only we could find out the sex earlier so I could start buying more stuff!
